1Touch™ Project – a timely self-empowerment initiative for people who are blind and visually impaired.
1Touch™ envisions the creation of a group of certified coaches that would provide every organization with a facility for improving the independence of people who are blind/VI and help them become better integrated into society.

1Touch™ understands the dynamics of the blind/VI community and recognize the unique opportunity to assist the objectives of enhancing the life experience and aspirations of individuals. 1Touch™ believes that existing programs can be augmented and that 1Touch™ is in a unique position to successfully do so.
1Touch™ is confident that our services will effectively address the needs of the blind/VI community. Our goal is to enhance rehabilitation and self-reliance by means of heightened environment orientation and specially tailored personal security training. Participants will have the opportunity to train and become certified 1Touch™ Coaches and further move on to training other individuals. Some will go on to become advanced coaches and train further coaches. With ongoing 1Touch™ logistics support, this provides a realistic delivery model which empowers the VI community and provides potential self-employment for many.
1Touch™ aims to serve individuals who are VI, blind, deaf-blind, and/or multi-disabled, of all ages from children to seniors. This unique self-defense training allows people to gain in independence, confidence, and a sense of security. The program will help young and old to contribute as students in their schools and as adults in their community.
